How do you keep a major high school operating while you demolish it in order to build on the same site? Multi-phased construction may be part of the answer. But multi-phased bidding requires careful planning of the budget and the schedule to make sure that later phases have sufficient resources to be successfully completed!
Ketchikan High School required four construction contracts to complete. We developed the budget and schedule road map that established how the final commissioning was to occur, before the first contract was bid.
