Planned at a cost of $35.5M in FWPS’s 2007 Bond Issue, costs are anticipated to be below the current $34M budget. The building is embedded into a “park-like” setting adjacent to an extensive wetland. The two-story scheme allows the facility to be operated in various “scenarios” including a three “school-within-a-school” organization. The building will include the use of photovoltaic roof panels with an instructive feature educating the students about solar energy. The building is currently under construction with all students remaining on-site and all programs being maintained.
