HIGH SCHOOL ADDITIONS

Federal Way Public Schools

In response to the District’s change from a grades 10-12 High School configuration to 9-12, additions were added to the three high schools.

The additions included general classrooms at each school plus Science Labs at Decatur and Thomas Jefferson High Schools, and a Commons at Federal Way High School.

Design themes and use of materials complement each of the facilities. Work at the three schools was performed under one construction concurrent contract.

The schools remained occupied during construction. Care was given to ensure student separation and safety, and the continuity of building systems.
